Develop a HACCP Program
This program is designed teach people how to effectively develop a HACCP Program. A number of students also attend the workshop to refresh and update their HACCP skills and knowledge.

Food Safety Auditing
This program consist of the new units of competencies for food safety auditing. All units of competency are Nationally accredited.

Food Industry Supervisor Training
This program is designed to for both new supervisors and team leaders wanting to improve their supervisory and people management skills. The program includes a number of technical food industry units that reflect the higher level of knowledge required by supervisors and team leaders.

Meat Industry Supervisor Training
This programs is specific for meat industry supervisors. A number of the units in this program are presently funded by the WA Department of Education and Training as part of the Critical Skills Program.

SHORT TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR THE FOOD AND MEAT processing INDUSTRY

All short programs delivered by the Australian College of Training consist of National units of competency that can later be used as credits in full qualifications.
The College has trained several hundred people in HACCP and Food Safety Auditing.

Statements of Attainment
Statements of Attainment are issued for all units of competency when completed and successfully assessed as competent. There is no additional fee for assessment and the issuing of Statements of Attainment.

You are eligible to update your HACCP Certificate if you have previously completed the following units of competency:

o   FDFCORFSY2A Implement the food safety program and procedures

o   FDFOPTHCP3A Participate in a HACCP team  

To update to a current HACCP Certificate follow these 5 simple steps:

1: Complete an Enrolment and Registration Form  PDF

2: Supply a certified copy of your Statement of Attainment or Certificate for Food Safety and HACCP

3: Complete a 3rd Party / Supervisor Report

4: Complete a Short Answer Revision workbook

5: Attach payment for $150

 WHY

ę Many companies now have this HACCP qualification as a minimum requirement for food safety, especially those servicing vulnerable groups, such as hospitals and aged care facilities.

ę Both units must be completed for National accreditation in HACCP. 

ę Complete the food safety unit only for a comprehensive understanding of food safety in the workplace.

ę This training program is certified by the International auditing agency, RABQSA International.

ę Training is delivered by highly skilled and experienced trainers from the food industry.

ę We are recognized as an RTO of Excellence – Winner of 2008 Training Excellence Awards and 2008 Australian Training Awards (National) and Winner of the MINTRAC Meat Industry Training Organisation of the Year 2009.

 

COST

ę Enrolment fee $45 per student.

ę Includes workbooks, templates and full certification and accreditation.

 

CERTIFICATES

ę Participants will receive a Nationally Recognized Statement of Attainment (in partial completion of Cert III-Food Processing) on successful completion of the training program for:

o   FDFCORFSY2A Implement the food safety program and procedures

o   FDFOPTHCP3A Participate in a HACCP team

ę Participants can also receive a RABQSA Certificate of Achievement for:

o   RABQSA-HP Developing HACCP plans    (Additional certificate fee applies)

 This course is certified under the RABQSA International Training Provider Examination Certification Scheme.
