Develop a HACCP Program
This program is designed teach people how to effectively develop a HACCP Program. A number of students also attend the workshop to refresh and update their HACCP skills and knowledge.

Food Safety Auditing
This program consist of the new units of competencies for food safety auditing. All units of competency are Nationally accredited.

Food Industry Supervisor Training
This program is designed to for both new supervisors and team leaders wanting to improve their supervisory and people management skills. The program includes a number of technical food industry units that reflect the higher level of knowledge required by supervisors and team leaders.

Meat Industry Supervisor Training
This programs is specific for meat industry supervisors. A number of the units in this program are presently funded by the WA Department of Education and Training as part of the Critical Skills Program.

SHORT TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR THE FOOD AND MEAT processing INDUSTRY

All short programs delivered by the Australian College of Training consist of National units of competency that can later be used as credits in full qualifications.
The College has trained several hundred people in HACCP and Food Safety Auditing.

Statements of Attainment
Statements of Attainment are issued for all units of competency when completed and successfully assessed as competent. There is no additional fee for assessment and the issuing of Statements of Attainment.

WHY

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is an internationally accepted method for managing food safety risks.  It is a systematic method of analyzing food processes, following the 7 principles of HACCP.

In order to demonstrate due diligence for the production of safe food, this training program provides the critical competencies required for the management and control of food safety risks and hazards.

WHY

Food Safety Auditing is an integral part of any food business.  It ensures that all documents and standards are internally reviewed or audited on a regular basis by the business itself, to assess and determine compliance.

This workshop will outline the roles, responsibilities and requirements of an Internal Food Safety Auditor.  Successful completion of the workshop will enable the Internal Food Safety Auditor to be competent in the participation and assist in the preparation of Food Safety Audits.
